Laptop Update
Facepalm - miss_jaffacake
Apologise to alizep and flourhurricane but as you probably guessed, the laptop was not fixed yesterday. I went in to PC World and apparently they rebooted it no problem, but when it started up again, all these lines came up and started criss-crossing on the scene. So it might be a motherboard problem, which is far more serious and costly. So I might have to get another laptop because this one is just out of warranty (what a co. The guy apologised for me walking all the way there for nothing but I wanted to know what was going on. I'd been waiting all day for a call to tell me it was fine, because the guy on Sunday told me it was a matter of hours, and nothing. So a courtesy update might have been in order.

I am so pissed off right now.

*hugs* I would be completely lost and useless without my laptop.... I'm convinced that laptops (and all other electronics) have self-destruct buttons that self-depress within hours of the warranty expiring.

Hopefully everything works out! (Or at least has a happy ending)

You may have something with that self-destruct button idea...

I hope everything works out. I dropped in today and they told me the Dell people were going to email them a patch for the motherboard. HOPEFULLY, this should solve the problem. Fingers crossed and anything else.

*crosses fingers*

Not sure how much longer I can wait for my Takehiko/Minako fluffy goodness.... :) *melts thinking about it*

Hopefully this Dell solution will fix everything so that you're not stuck buying a new laptop - and hopefully not stuck having to start all over again with setting up a new one.
