Guess what?

People I have talked to in the past month:

Albus Schneider
Kevin Snapes
Adèle Scrimgeour
Simon Longbottom!

And Diane Penfold for any Danger Mouse fans out there.

Also, Hugh Laurie was at the wrap party for Heroes, playing the keyboard. How cool is that?!

This has been your random post for the day.

They're all Harry Potter names. ^^; Sorry, should have said that in the intro.

You met people named Albus and Scrimgeour? That's so unbelievable!

There's a children's book author named Snape, and every time I see the book on the shelf, I imagine what Severus Snape would think of drawing fluffy bunnies and stuff... :D

Well, I didn't 'meet' them, but they were in the conferences I was chairing. ^^

Bwhaha, a children's book? That's hilarious!

Hee! :D

I love Hugh Laurie in House, and I've just been getting into Heroes this season... so both of them in the same place? That's pretty cool.

Yeah, I don't know how they managed it, but I squealed when I saw him onscreen. :)

Interesting... was the Longbottom hot, though? Or, if you've not laid eyes on him, did you get vibes of hotness through the telephone/ computer/ whichever communication device you used to talk to him?

My surname is *very nearly* a *very* cool Potterverse-name - take Ginny's Patronus and add the last three letters of Ron's surname - hey presto! That's me! ;)

Did you catch the last episodes of Heroes this week, then? And how about The Golden Compass? Have you seen it yet? I know it's gonna be on your to-do list!
xx
Helen

I didn't talk to him, I just noticed the name in the conference, sadly. But a real Longbottom!

Wow, that makes you a double H, right?

YES! I did watch the last two episodes! This is me: ;___; Even though I'd seen bits on YouTube, it was still moving. Apart from Molly, who grates on me like a wrongly tuned violin.

No, I haven't seen it, did you want to go and see it this coming weekend?

Yeah, HH, HelenH, that's me.

Yes, I would like to come up and join you in Gloucester to see The Golden Compass! That would be fun. And it looks *great*. Could make it up next Saturday afternoon, or possibly Sunday, but might depend if I have a job interview the following week ... am applying for a job that I was asked to apply for, so am hopeful, but don't as yet know when they have scheduled the interviews for ... I'll PM you thru' SQ, if you like, keep you informed!
xx

It would be great to see you. Saturday is probably best, as there is more open, but let me know, okay? PM me!!
